New Bern Gymnastics

We believe gymnastics helps children with the development of coordination, flexibility, strength, and the skills to enhance other sports. It also provides the opportunity to learn, gain self-esteem and confidence, and interact socially with peers. Gymnastics is a powerful avenue for physical as well as mental growth!

Employee Spotlight

This month's Spotlight is on

John Prather

I was born in Jacksonville, NC but raised in a Military family. I’ve lived in
just about every corner of this country, however I’ve spent the most years of my life in North Carolina and claim myself to this state.

I grew up with two older siblings, both sisters. Ashley Prather Garrett and Meagan Prather.

Coaching here at NBG has been my first coaching opportunity. This season will mark the fourth year in my coaching career.

Hands down my favorite thing about NBG would be the people. From my fellow staff that have taught me everything I know about the sport to the kids that have a certain level of dedication and commitment that you can’t find outside of gymnasts.
